An inside look at Moog

An inside look at Moog

I was lucky enough to get the first look at what the Mother-32 brings to the table, in the Asheville NC factory where it's handcrafted, and record all the classic Moog tones Producer/DJ Marley Carroll can coax out of this analog synth. Below are a few of my favorite pictures I managed to get between shoots that day.

Getting to interview the creators of this synth was really a pleasant surprise. Their decisions weren't just based on what was the cheapest option, or what was trendy, they focused on building off the Moog legacy while still designing gear that has the modern musician in mind.

Moog synths are all still hand built and tested in their small North Carolina factory. Their huge waiting lists were a lot more understandable and forgivable after this trip.
